Separate mobile media for Hero and Media Banner sections
Upload a different image or video for mobile, and only the matching media loads.
Two media fields, Desktop and Mobile
You can now upload a different image or video for mobile in the Hero and Media Banner sections. Each section has two media fields — Desktop and Mobile. Upload one and it's used on every screen size, exactly as before. Upload both and visitors see the desktop media on wide screens and the mobile media on phones.
Mix images and video freely
Either field accepts an image or a video, and they don't have to match — you can pair a desktop video with a mobile image, or any other combination.
Built for narrow screens
This is useful when a horizontal, wide-crop banner doesn't work on a narrow screen. Brands can now supply a vertical image or video built for mobile instead of letting the desktop version scale down and lose its focal point or crop out the product.
Only what's needed loads
Only the media that matches the visitor's screen is downloaded, so adding a mobile version doesn't slow the page down — in most cases it makes mobile faster, since phones no longer load the larger desktop asset.
