POS app enhancements

Create and publish products from the POS app

We've expanded the POS app to fully support inventory tracking, product creation, and customer profile management. You can create a new product from inside any POS location without leaving the app, upload the product image directly from your mobile camera, and quickly publish the product to your POS sales channel. Only POS staff with Admin access can publish or create products. Customer profile management has also been added.

Faster and more consistent data

Customer data structures are now standardised across the platform, and overall API response times have improved through optimised data caching. These enhancements are part of our centralised inventory, customer and order management work, and we're continuing to build on them. They're available now on the Android and iOS Eaglecart POS App, and will reach you in the coming days via an update from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Other general app and web POS updates

A new fixed-amount discount option is now available at checkout, letting cashiers easily switch between percentage and fixed discounts. The payment interface now dynamically shows only the payment methods currently active in your settings. An automatically generated store link QR code is now integrated directly into the POS interface. Printed receipt templates — coupons, held receipts, and sale receipts — have been refined to conditionally show or hide staff names based on your store's invoice settings.
