OpenAI opened ChatGPT Ads to businesses this month, and your store supports it from today. Paste your Pixel ID and everything else is already wired — the tracking code, the events, the server-side sending.
What it does
People are increasingly asking ChatGPT what to buy. ChatGPT Ads puts your products in those conversations, and the pixel tells OpenAI which of those conversations turned into sales — so it can report a real return and show your ads to more people like the ones who bought.
One ID, nothing to paste into your theme
Go to Settings, Tracking, ChatGPT Ads and add your Pixel ID from Ads Manager. That is the whole setup. We generate and maintain the tracking code for you, and we keep it current as OpenAI changes it.
Product views, add to cart, checkout and purchases are all measured automatically, with the right value and currency on every one.
Server-side tracking, included
Ad blockers and browser restrictions stop a growing share of pixel events, and each one lost is a sale ChatGPT cannot credit to your ads. Add a Conversions API key and we send the same events from our servers as well. OpenAI matches the two and still counts each sale once.
Most platforms either leave you to build this yourself or sell it as an add-on. It is part of your store.
Test before you go live
Switch on validation mode and place a test order. OpenAI checks your events are correct and tells you so, without recording them. Switch it off when you are satisfied.
Multiple pixels, and per market
Add up to three pixels in a region — your own alongside an agency's. And each region keeps its own settings, so a store selling in several markets can report to the ad account for each one.
Why this matters now
