MATCH THE REQUIREMENT

Review the product family, then the model.

The application alone does not define the transformer. Confirm the electrical, mechanical and environmental requirements against a specific model and configuration.

Product familyInformation to confirm
Dry-Type Transformers →Installation environment, cooling, ventilation, enclosure and insulation requirements.
Oil-Immersed Transformers →Electrical ratings, liquid and cooling requirements, accessories and site arrangement.
Pad-Mounted Transformers →Voltage and capacity, compartment arrangement, cable access, enclosure and utility requirements.
Switchgear & Distribution →Panel scope, system interfaces, ratings and coordination with the transformer package.

PROJECT QUESTIONS

Transformer solution FAQs.

Can you work from a single-line diagram or tender specification?

Include the diagram reference or relevant technical requirements in your enquiry. State the capacity, voltage ratio, frequency, vector group, destination and required standard. The proposal should identify any missing inputs or deviations before confirmation.

How do I choose between dry-type, oil-immersed and pad-mounted options?

Start with the project’s electrical design, installation environment, enclosure and cooling requirements, available space and utility requirements. The product families on this page are starting points for technical review; the final model and configuration depend on the agreed project specification.

Can I request a project-specific configuration?

Send the required electrical ratings, dimensions, interfaces, accessories and documentation requirements. The technical review confirms the proposed configuration and supply scope before the order is agreed.

Can the project specify IEC, IEEE or a utility standard?

Include the exact standard and edition together with the purchaser or utility specification. The selected design, available evidence and required tests must be reviewed against those requirements. See Standards & Quality Assurance for the document-planning guide.

What should I send to start a project review?

Provide the application, quantity, capacity, primary and secondary voltage, frequency, destination and target delivery date. Add the required standard, site conditions and any drawings, test reports or inspection arrangements needed for approval.
